Lib Dems in Kingsthorpe are celebrating the 200th issue of 'Focus on Kingsthorpe'. Published for the first time over 30 years ago, Focus has kept people informed of local issues and actions by Lib Dem councillors ever since - Kingsthorpe has elected Liberal and Liberal Democrat councillors in every election since 1981.

Copies of Kingsthorpe Focus have been carefully collected over the years, and were on display at a small event held in the village.

Tony Rounthwaite, the man who started Focus all those years ago returned to meet up with old friends in Kingsthorpe and celebrate the long life of a community newsletter that the other parties said wouldn't last.
