Northamptonshire's motto 'rosa concordiae signum' means 'the rose is a symbol of harmony'. But will local Tories be smelling of roses after this use of your money?

Local Lib Dems have launched an online poll to gauge support for the Conservatives' £100,000 You Choose campaign.

Senior Conservatives hope the campaign will help them prioritise £100 million of countywide cuts between now and 2014.
